First Gas Prices, and the sad housing market. Now this--
Starbucks announced that they will be closing 600 stores and cutting 12,000 jobs. The move will eliminate 8% of the roughly 7,250 stores operated by Starbucks and cut 7% of its global workforce, or as many as 12,000 employees- DAMN!
Great! Now I will have to walk 3 whole blocks in the city to get to the nearest one! WTF!?

Meanwhile, they're opening another one on 125th Street.... I wonder if one of the THREE Starbucks (three in a two block radius - overkill much?) over here by the Plantation will close....
