No matter what the outcome is in November. HISTORY was made tonight.
Barack Obama was officially voted as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America at the Democratic National Convention. The first African American in our country's history to achieve this honor.
After a few states officially gave their votes in their respective speechs, Sen. Hillary Clinton spoke over a cheerfully thunderous for NY and moved to suspend the roll call vote and officially name Sen. Obama the Democratic Nominee. Whatever happeens on Election day, my children will still be able to see the tangible possibilites for their future. They will know that anything is really possible.
