This weekend started off with the shocking news that comedian Bernie Mac had passed away on Saturday at the age of 50. Mac was recently hospitalized with pneumonia but his publicist had been denying reports that the situation was grim. He admitted several years ago to battling a lung disease called Sarcoidosis.
Isaac Hayes was found dead in his Memphis home on Sunday. Hayes' career spanned many decades. He won several Grammys. He also won an Oscar for the theme song to "Shaft." Isaac was the voice for Chef on "South Park" from 1997 to 2006. Eerily enough Hayes plays himself in an upcoming movie called "Soul Man" which stars Bernie Mac....
