So, I read this story over at my favorite blog 3 days ago. While it's pretty interesting on some small level it's really not shocking on any. Kelly Rowland finally severed ties with her manager Matthew (Father of Beyonce) Knowles.

Many had been speculating since the BEGINNING that perhaps just maybe, Beyonce's father might have a conflict of interest when representing the girls and just being Bey's dad. But the Destiny's Child/ Musicworld Entertainment conglomerate have proclaimed for years that Kelly was another daughter. Well, newsflash people-this just in "Blood is ALWAYS thicker than water."

Kelly's statement: “Mathew Knowles has been a positive influence in my career. I have had great success under his guidance — both as a member of Destiny’s Child and with my solo projects. Although we have decided to part ways professionally, the Knowles family and the entire Music World Entertainment team will always be my family.”

Word really is that Kelly got her ego stroked overseas (where she has a much larger profile) and started to question why the same fame alludes her here in the states. Also the rumor is that it all came to a head when Matthew pushed Solange's project harder than he ever did Kelly's or Michelle's.

Now Kelly 's knows how the other former DC members felt.
